HP’s Education Sensation 

We always enjoy partnering with event management company Type 40 Events, in part because their events are great fun, often with unique challenges.

In 2018, we joined forces for the Hewlett Packard Education Symposium, entitled ‘The New Paradigm’. It featured some heavy hitters as keynote speakers, including Dan Bernasconi, Emirates Team NZ Head of Design (he has 20 years in Formula One and America’s Cup and a PhD in Sail Aerodynamics!) and Don Carlson, Education Director for Microsoft.

This was a full-on single-day event, for which we provided a curved high-resolution LED screen, lighting and Audio systems. Equipment used included:

  •  15m wide x 3m high curved high resolution flown LED screen

  • 70m of Room draping

  • Tiered risers to create a tight comfortable event space for the audience

  • 30 moving light fixtures both spot and wash controlled by MA Lighting

  • Barco E2 Screen Management
