Making America Great Again

Every year, the American Chamber of Commerce New Zealand celebrates and acknowledges Kiwi companies doing business with the USA, with the AmCham-DHL Success and Innovation Awards. It’s a pretty big deal for the businesses involved, drawing in sponsors like DHL, United Airlines, Fonterra and ANZ.

Categories include Exporter of the Year to the USA, revenues to the USA up to NZ $1m, NZ $1m to NZ $10m, over NZ $10, Importer of the year, and so on.

For the 2018 awards, HDAV partnered with event management company, Lime & Soda.

HDAV designed all parts of the event, including Projection, LED, Audio, Lighting and Media Creation. Equipment used included:

  • 6 high resolution LED screens in both Landscape and Portrait

  • Projection screens

  • 10,000 lumen laser projectors

  • Custom media creation from animated opening logos, sponsor’s logos and awards creation

  • Watchout media servers used to control all playback content

  • 80 moving and static light fixtures
